Prof. Valentina Duran Medina, LLB (Universidad de Chile), Masters (DEA) (University of Paris I Panthéon) is Professor and Research Coordinator at Centro de Derecho Ambiental, Universidad de Chile. Valentina leads research projects and consultancy in the private and public sector in environmental law topics, such as: international environmental law, environmental compliance and enforcement, environmental policy, biodiversity, environmental instruments. She is the author of articles and coeditor of books, and is an alternate director of the environmental law journal (U. de Chile), a board member on the Domeyko Program on Biodiversity, a member of AJDE (Association des Juristes du DEA de Droit de l’Environnement des Universités de Paris I et de Paris II) and of Sociedad Chilena de Derecho Ambiental. She also edits the CDA blog.
