Tejas Rao is an Associate Fellow of the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law. He holds an LLM (International Law) from the University of Cambridge and B.A.,LL.B. from the Gujarat National Law University. In the past, he has researched with members of the International Law Commission and volunteered with Governmental actors in India to conduct policy analysis and prepare sustainable development roadmaps. His research interests concern questions of environmental governance in the global commons, particularly in the polar regions and outer space, inspired by fantasy and science-fiction novels he read as a child.
